| Many of you have heard about the "crappie cribs" in Upper Red Lake. The Upper Red Lake Association developed the plan to add clusters of cribs in the lake to provide structure. With the help of sponsers (of which we are proud sponsers of a crib) and volunteers five sets of cribs were added. Each set of cribs contain 20 log cribs. The first set was added in 1999 and the fifth set was added in April 2001, here are the photo's we took. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| There is one set on the north side, two sets off the eastside of the lake and two that are off the southshore. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| You never know what you'll see on the ice! |

| You will see an abundance of wildlife in the area, including large numbers of deer. There are also many bald eagles that soar around. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is a beautiful part of the country, no matter what the season is. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
