Not a bad start to the 4th weekend for Karl & Bernie with some jumbo sunnies and a couple of crappies

Looks like the fish kinda slid down the board on the picture, but Mark, Bernie, Rick, their Dad, Mom and Scott had a good time over the 4th fishing

Had a fun day on the open water with my brother Marv reeling in some sunnies and gills.  Unfortunately, I forgot the camera when we were on Upper Red and he reeled in his first northern, a 36"er that was a truly fat piggy pike!

Jeff was up in the area to do some fishing, started the day pike fishing, keeping a couple, then heading out for a couple hours to panfish

After sharing their fish fry with their other four buddies, Bill, Larry and Bob went exploring on another lake and reeled in some more sunnies, gills and a couple of pike

A little rain didn't deter Bill, Larry and Bob from fishing, reeling in 44 keeper sunnies and a couple of crappies.  They and their buddies are in for a big fish fry tonight!
